Founded in Germany in 1980, Bedeutend-Grade Productions (english trans. 'eminent-grade') is one of the world's leading production companies, specialising in award winning television shows in both Europe and North America.


Because Bedeutend-Grade Productions is an international production company it is simply known as "B-Grade Productions" outside of Germany.

B-Grade has studio facilities in the major television production centres of London, Berlin, and New York. In April 2003 B-Grade opened a production office in New Zealand to tap into the talent pool developed by the recent films made there. With our New Zealand office, we can now better serve agencies and clients throughout the Pacific Rim and Asia.

B-Grade's productions range from one-off specials to high-volume output for networks and our full production services include post-production facilities, visual effects and animation.

B-Grade has a global reputation for quality and innovation in television production. We have sold programmes in more than ninety countries around the world and we have won almost every major international television award including the 2002 TBS Award for Excellence in Television Production.
